The Aegis is one of the oldest classes of warship that is still in service with the Clans, originally entering service in 2372 with the Terran Hegemony and then later the Star League. Despite fighting through the 'Age of War' the Reunification War and the Amaris Civil War, and everything that followed including the brutal Wars of Reaving. Despite all this, the class still serves today in 3150, their heavy autocannon's a threat to anything in space.
Here the CGS Corona Borealis is moving under full thrust either on patrol or moving to engage a hostile force.

One of the few settings that isn't ashamed to use single digit G accelerations. I certainly like Btech ships even if they aren't the focus of the setting. (I've been reading a lot from the wiki and I really wish I could get my hands on some of the books)
